 Announcing Clinical Training for Imago Relationship Therapy in the Detroit Metropolitan area. This 12-day training is available for certification to qualified professionals on a Clinical Track and for audit on an Educational Track.

 IMAGO Relationship Therapy training is based on the theoretical model developed by Dr. Harville Hendrix and initially set forth in his book, Getting the Love You Want, A Guide for Couples, further delineated in Keeping The Love You Find, A Guide for Singles and applied to children in Giving the Love that Heals, a Guide for Parents.

The training will be led by Maya Kollman, M.A., a clinical instructor trained by Harville Hendrix, Ph.D. Maya has been working closely with Dr. Hendrix 1990 and is one of five master trainers in the IMAGO network. She has assisted Dr. Hendrix in many clinical training programs in New York City and has given training programs in Detroit, MI, Princeton, NJ, San Francisco, CA, Denver, CO, and elsewhere. Maya is a favorite in Michigan and will be offering her Clinical Training in Michigan.

Maya is passionate about IMAGO and has a thorough knowledge of the model. Her general expertise in teaching, and gentle, dynamic presence and warmth, makes her a uniquely safe and capable teacher and guide.

The following information will be needed as part of your application packet for the Clinical Training. It will expedite the application process if you submit two (2) copies of the following:

• Curriculum vitae

• Two letters of recommendation from professionals who know your work

•  A copy of your professional license

•  A copy of your graduate degree in the mental health field

•  A copy of the facing page of your liability insurance with policy number

Optional: one (1) 3 x 5 photo for IRTM website purposes only
 

Admission requirements for the clinical course include:

• Participation in a Getting the Love You Want workshop

• Advanced degree in the mental health field

• Membership in a recognized professional organization

• Current clinical practice with couples

• License (if required by state; 300 hours of post graduate supervision (150 one on one)

• Copy of malpractice insurance.
